Concave Optic Nerve?

Post a new topicby Guest on Mon Sep 23, 2002 12:27 pm

My son hs extreamly poor eyesight which we first learned of when he was 4 years old (he is 7 now) on his last eye exam the doctor said that his optic nerves were concave rather than convex (I may have that backwards, but he said it was the opisite of 'normAL').
My question is, what could this mean? Is it something I should have looked into? Have you ever heard of this?
